On 2-17-2024 at approximately 1:15 A.M, deputies were notified of a hit and run on Pine Street in Warrensburg, Johnson County, Missouri.

Deputies were advised the suspect vehicle was last seen west bound on W. Young towards NW 50 HWY. Deputies set up in the 900 block of NW 50 HWY where they located the suspect vehicle exceeding the posted speed limit. Deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle, but it fled. Deputies were eventually able to end the vehicle pursuit using stop sticks and take the suspect and only occupant of the vehicle, into custody without issue.
