Crime Map Details

On 03/29/2024 at approximately 3:10 P.M., Deputies with the Johnson County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to a rural address in Holden, Johnson County, Missouri for a traffic violation. While enroute, it was reported a vehicle was traveling on the roadway towing a trailer that was fully engulfed in flames. Deputies arrived on scene and attempted to extinguish the fire but were unsuccessful. Through investigation it was learned the male driver tossed a cigarette out his window, catching material on his trailer on fire and was attempting to get home to put out the fire. Johnson County Fire District was called to put out the fire on the trailer. The investigation is ongoing.
