Missing and Endangered Person

On June 28th, 2012 Johnson County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the report of a missing and endangered juvenile. Dale A. Conger II, age 16, was reported missing from his home at 826 SE 425 Road Knob Noster,Missouri.

 

Sheriff’s Office Investigators learned that Conger has been diagnosed with health conditions requiring medication. Investigators believed Conger did not have his medications with him at the time of his disappearance.  Investigators received information that suggested Dale A. Conger II may possibly be en route to the State ofArkansas.

 

Investigators were able to successfully place a trace on Conger’s cellular telephone and learned that he was in the area of West Pine Street in Warrensburg at approximately 10:00 AM on June 28, 2012.  Johnson County Sheriff’s deputies and Warrensburg Police officers responded to the area, but were not able to locate Conger.  No other information was received from the trace until approximately 4:00 PM.  At approximately 4:00 PM, Johnson County Sheriff’s Investigators received additional information from Conger’s cellular telephone indicating he was traveling southbound on U.S. 65 Highway near Harrison,Arkansas.

 

Investigators with the Johnson County, Missouri Sheriff’s Office and the Van Buren County, Arkansas Sheriff’s Office coordinated a traffic stop on a passenger bus in Clinton,Arkansas. Van Buren County Sheriff’s deputies located Dale A. Conger II on the bus and learned that he was en route toHot Springs,Arkansas.  Conger’s mother was notified of his location and traveled to Arkansas where she was reunited with her son.
