Arrests Made In Sonic Drive-In Armed Robberies

Wednesday, November 14, 2012, Detective Mike Nelson and investigators from the Sedalia Police Department and Pettis County Sheriff’s Office took four subjects into custody regarding the armed robberies of the Sonic Drive-Ins in Sedalia and Windsor.
 
The four arrests included two juveniles ages 14 and 15. According to the Sheriff’s Office report, the four confessed to their involvements in the two crimes. The investigative reports and probable cause statements are being submitted to prosecutors in Henry and Pettis counties for the filing of formal charges.
 
Arrested for investigation of armed robbery and armed criminal action was Jeffrey D. Buckner, age 21 and Xavier D. Washington, age 23 both of Sedalia. Both subjects are being held in the Pettis County Detention Center. The juveniles are being detained at a juvenile detention facility.
