On 10/09/2023 at approximately 10:06 pm Deputies were dispatched to the 1700 block of NW 450 on a report of an abandoned vehicle.

On scene, a white 2016 Kia MPV was checked for possible wants. The vehicle came back stole out of Independence, MO reported on 9/12/2023. There was no suspect information, with Independence Police advising it will not be held for processing, and could be released to owner. The current owner was now listed as Progressive Insurance. Tip Top Towing removed the vehicle and transported it to their lot to await further disposition.
